Posts: 115. iron golem spawning is tricky and dependant on villagers meeting certain requirements. first they needed to have slept recently. then they need to successfully visit their job site. then also the town bell. if they can do all that and havnt seen a golem in a while, they can get the "desire for a golem".No job is required on Java. If there is already a golem in the 16x16x16 around the villager, no further golem is spawned. There are two mechanics to spawn: gossip require at least 4 (maybe 5,not sure) villagers, it's slow and unreliable. The villagers need to be able to talk to each other.
